Facilitator/Moderator

A person engaged to assist experts to
- identify
- remain focussed; and
- resolve issues
- identify where issues are not resolved the key areas of disagreement.
He or she may assist in the production of the joint expert report
More useful when there are:
- a number of experts
- a number of disciplines
- different languages
- a need to emphasis the objects of the exercise and in particular that the evidence in Australia is potentially different from overseas jurisdictions where the expert may be more of an advocate for their respective clients.
